Spent a whole morning and most of the afternoon just wandering from floor to floor  of this giant ship designed building! with great coffee and food outlets staffed by very friendly and helpful people.

The views from the top floor are stunning as are a lot of the exhibits and things to know about. This place has an entrance, but it is worth paying for according to everything you  will experience!

If you are interested in the natural world this is just the place to spend a few hours. It’s got something for everyone, young and old.

Nice place to buy tulips. Nice place as it’s really near a canal and looks really beautiful. Very crowded as Netherlands is the place for tulips.

There are many shops and if you be patient, you will find your thing with good price. White, red or yellow tulips and even blue ones available. Best place for beauty lovers!

It’s a very peaceful place with a garden surrounded by characteristic Amsterdam buildings. The entrance is through a gateway from the street and there is no entry to pay.

While you are walking in the crowded street nearby, you can find yourself in a silent and calm place just passing through the gateway to here. Enjoy it!

This is a good large outdoor market with a variety of items on sale. Lots of hot street food is also available. You will find any thing you want to buy, eat or see in this place. Good place to visit.  Do not miss the Dutch pancakes here.

It’s beautiful at night especially when you take a boat tour  which runs at 9 pm. Amsterdam and boat rides are connected like body and the soul.

Located in an amazing architecture building, there are several interesting exhibitions related to the history of film and Dutch cinema. It is cheap entry price, and the main exhibitions took about two hours to finish.

They also offer films to watch with varying show times if you want to stay for a feature-length presentation. If you’re thinking of getting hungry after watching 2 hours of shows, we have good news for you. There are also a bar and a good restaurant that you can try after the show.

 

Hermitage Amsterdam

Beautiful place to go. It’s pretty empty at noontime if you enjoy looking around in peace and tired of crowded places.  It’s cool indoors and spacious.

The guided tour has an annoyingly loud beep every time you scan another painting, but that’s a minor issue. The Hermitage has a great collection of art. The expositions are placed in nice, spacious halls with great lighting to shine.

The building itself is a beautiful place close to the city centre and good for relaxing. The only downsides are the high prices for a ticket and in the restaurant, but it worth!

 

The New Church, one of the Amsterdam sights

Gorgeous on the outside, unmet expectations inside. Located in dam square in middle of city. The church is great but most of it is covered by exhibitions that don’t let you experience the interior of the building and enjoy its history.

But to be honest as a historical place it will be good time for you and your family. But it will be not a cheap place!

Hortus Botanicus Amsterdam

Fabulous botanical gardens with so much to see and experience within their grounds. The butterfly house was utterly delightful, with butterflies flying all around you.

The pond containing a lotus flower with enormous lily pads is an amazing sight to behold. The three climate greenhouse was also a sensory delight. For the perfect finish to your visit you will find a delicious cake & a coffee in their well-stocked cafe. Free entry, beautiful experience and shot amazing photos!

It’s more like a city centre where you can sit down at the foot steps of the monument and see the world go by. You can see some jokers in action as well if you are lucky.

All around this place is connected to streets thriving with shops for all sorts of things. And Amsterdam Tram goes pass through nearby too so you can come and go to anywhere you want to. Its in dam square which you will see it after left the hotel!

Really a nice thing to do in Amsterdam. You learn on a very funny and interactive way things about the Dutch history. The actors are great really respect how they tell and act the story.

The tour is build in a beautiful 17s century  house that you walk in. If you have a weak heart don’t go if you scared quick or scared in the dark don’t go but on the other part are safe to watch and enjoy!

A’DAM Lookout, one of the best Amsterdam sights

Go here for the best views of Amsterdam. Day views are great but night views are the best of bests. To get the both go before sunset so you get to see both. Only a few minutes ferry ride from Amsterdam central square. Tickets are fairly expensive to go to the top. Book tickets online as they’re slightly cheaper.

They are two viewing decks, indoor and outdoor. The outdoor swing looks good but didn’t get to go on it due to bad weather. You can have professional photos taken and get online versions for free.

Simple on the outside, sophisticated on the inside. Multiple exhibitions spread out over several floors in a beautiful large open building. Standing in the middle of the ground floor you get a sneak preview on the topics you can find on all the different levels.

 It takes hours to visit all building. You could do some research and visit for just one specific exhibition while casually strolling past some of the others, or let yourself be surprised and go unprepared, or even go for the achievement of doing them all. Worth visiting multiple times.

Beautifully maintained, excellent tours. Located in a scenic, peaceful town. Great for a full day. Rode a bike from Amsterdam, was about an hour. Easy ride through a park and along the water. Its look like places that you watched in historical movies! Its always place for held weddings too.

Enjoy a fantastic time visiting the Moco Museum. There’s a wide variety of art from some of the most prolific modern artists. Despite the large collection, the museum is still pretty small, making it easy to navigate and see all the art without going over your culture quota.
